The anime portion...

I have some spare time right now....in theatre class! Lol. I'd like to mention that.....

MY TROMBONE LESSONS ARE AWESOME!!!!

Yes. They have been going amazingly well. I feel like I'm making leaps and bounds in improvement now, instead of little baby steps. I've never felt so good about my trombone playing, but that's changing. I feel a great sense of accomplishment, ooo yay.

Want some entertainment? This makes me laugh:

My Dirty Little Secret
Fullmetalcan's FMA AMV using the song "My Dirty Little Secret" by the All-American Rejects.

Fuery: No! No! No! Keep those non-chord tones away from me! I'd rather suffer from cadances over non-chord tones....

Hughes: That's right, I am a saxophone player and everyone looks up to me - especially the lower class ones like tuba players. Everyone wants to be like a saxophone player because they are AWESOME!
Ed: Wow. I want to be as good-looking as him and be admired by all.

Mustang: I have sucessfully accomplished another step towards ulitimate power. I am not only the music librarian, office staff, equipment manager, the guy that everyone in the band runs to when they have problems, and the super dependable all-around guy that the band directors flock to when they have problems and things that need to be done by a trusted, skilled, responsible, diligent student such as I. But now....I AM THE DRUM MAJOR!!! Fwahahahaha!

Ahh....power really gets to you, doesn't it? (>^,^)>

I have returned!

I have returned to update this place. I've been so busy with almost everything that I am so ready to fall over. For real. On a brighter note, Pep band auditions are coming up (yay!). Everything has been going really nicely though. Heck - even my aural comp. exam didn't go as bad as I thought. BMB season is coming to an end..for the moment (*crosses fingers for Bowl Game*). It's a bit bittersweet - kind of like "Whoo-hoo free time!" and "I'm going to miss my section".

A random off-category something: The Gummi Bear TV theme song is quite addicting.

Mustang: I'd have to thank you for your help in capturing this tuba player.
Al: No, I've been meaning to get him back for him dropping his tuba on my flute.
Ed: NOOOO!!! I can't believe you sold your soul to the devil, Alphonse! That was an accident! He's manipulating you, that trombone ba$#&#d!

Havoc and Mustang off to destroy fugitive non-chord tones.

Havoc has found the secrets to passing music theory with ease, but unfortunately, he did not have the key. Oh darn.

And finally....the best reason to not agree to anything....

Ridiculously Short Update

I'm in history class and all I have to say is....

None of this stuff makes sense anymore!

What Makes His World Go 'Round...

Whoo-hoo!! So, Saturday, my family came up to WMU and it was super sweet! The Broncos won the home football game and then my family and my room mate Brianna went to eat at Culver's. I heart Culver's..(Is it Culvers or Culver's? Ehh..). Frozen custard is just super good stuff to eat. I miss my family soooooo much. I'm glad we all had a good time here.

Today has just been a bleak day. I haven't really got anything done yet - maybe it's because I'm so tired. Who knows? I guess today's little manga clippings ended up to be what makes Roy Mustang's world go 'round....Hehe...

Status. Power. Glory. Victory. Women. What man would not want all of that at some point? He's got it all :)

Strange I know. And now I leave you with...

Snap..It was an A Flat...

Okay, there's a song from Phantom of the Opera called "Music of the Night". My favorite song in the entire musical!! Anyway, there's a line that goes like this (movie version):

"Close your eyes, let your spirit start....to soar"

'Soar' being a very high sweet note. It's probably my most favorite line out of all the songs. Okay, I've always thought it was a high A. I insisted on it. Oookay....so I was wrong...It was an A freakin' Flat - ARGH. I don't like being wrong, but seriously, I thought it was an A natural. Oh well - I could always transpose it so that it has an A instead of an Ab.

OMG - I have been so busy that I feel like I could fall over anytime now. BMB season is starting to wind down - last home game tomorrow against Miami (Ohio). It's going to be a lot of fun. I'm sad the season is going to end 'cause it was my favorite class, but I'll a bit of more time to take care of work and stuff now. Pep band is starting! Ya-hoo! Lessons are going SUPER well and I'm playing stuff I never thought I'd be playing this quickly. Shhhnaaaap. Aural Comp. is going better than I thought despite the really low score on the exam. And theory is okay...but still is ugh. Lol.

Time for more practicing.....And then movie night and it's going to be:....*drumroll*
The Matrix!

Yes. Yes he is. So dreamy ^.~

What day is it today? THURSDAY!!!

Actually, there's nothing special about this particular Thursday. I am mad about the 65 I had on my second written Aural Comp. Exam. Ugh.

TUBAween was on Tuesday night and that was a TON of fun!! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Kudos to those that came to see the production - you guys rock!

RockYou FXText - Get Your Own

I like this. It's so......Me! Whoo-hoo :)

Time for concert band...Update later. Meh.

Morning of Picking on Woodwinds

Soon it will be the string instruments...FWAHAHAHA!!!

OK, I'm in theory class and Dr. Code is talking about some word and then he takes a trip and falls. And then he says the word means "to fall". My heart jumped - I thought he fell for real. Talk about a morning wake-up call, lol.

Woodwinds Rule anyway....They're just fun to poke at, lol :)
Now some random stuff I just don't know where to put...

Bradley/Pride: (in the distance) Mustang! Make sure you get those 500+ copies of music copied and stuffed into folders to be sent out by tomorrow. No excuses.
Mustang: *stunned thinking* Inconsiderate ugh. And I had a date tonight too, with a certain trumpet player nonetheless...

Oh snap. What was I supposed to practice for my lesson?!

Or...

Whoa. Hot trumpet player just caught my eye.

Small Post

I would just like to say something before heading to Dalton to practice....

That's two state titles in a row! Whoo-hoo. I miss my high school band and all my friends in it :( The people in RPMB are AMAZING!

Supreme Power Morning

Well..it's close to afternoon now. I am soooooo tired that I don't feel like doing anything. Ugh.

This morning/close to afternoon is dedicated to Bradley/Pride and his supreme power of band director-ness. Oh joy.

Band directors are well-renowned for striking fear into the hearts of others. Whoo-hoo for them keeping everyone else living on the edge!!

A real update sometime when I'm less out of it.

More Randomness...Again

Okay, so yesterday night, I went with two of my good friends, Mike and Jeff, to this 'Haunted Hall' thing they were holding in Valley III. It was either $5 dollars or two canned goods to get in, so we went to Meijer to pick up canned soup and we happened to see Spencer who was doing the same thing. When we made it to the 'Haunted Hall', he was just leaving with a lady friend of his, and he was smiling and she was shaking. Oh boy - that scared me from the start.

The event was very well-done...and scared the living daylights out of me. I'm scared of clowns, so of course, the clown ends up getting ridiculously close and starts talking to me, so I'm screaming my head off. And just before that, was a chainsaw guy out of nowhere already getting the blood pumping. There's that Shadow Temple in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time with the walls that have creepy faces on them that makes me so creeped out that I make my brother play the dungeon all the time. So anyway, there was this room that you went in, and then the lights went out, and bam - glow-in-the-dark masks on walls appear that highly resembeled the Shadow Temple. There were rooms with strobe lights and scary people popping out of nowhere, and you're trying to run away and it feels like you're not getting anywhere. There was a 'Ring' scene and psycho people covered in blood yelling "Help me" and letting out bloodcurdling screams. And I did not like the rooms where you had your eyes open and it was so dark, it was like you had them closed, and things just kept appearing out of nowhere.

Basically, I wouldn't let go of Jeff the whole time because he kept leading me on. And I screamed almost the whole time. Jeff thought it was funny that the other guys that ended up in our group were genuinely freaked out to the point they were arguing about who should go into the next room first. Mike was impressed, but not really spooked out. It was worth it though - I had a lot of fun. I should have FMA pictures to go with this though...

Before going into the hall...

When we were hearing stories about it while we were waiting, I was getting more on edge about the whole thing.

In the hall...

What was happening 90 percent of the time I was in there. The remaining percentage was either me clinging to someone or closing my eyes.

Finally making it out of the hall...

My heart was racing about as fast as a person being chased by demons feels.

Random comic!! Because I'm too tired to write...Had a huge football game today, WMU vs. EMU. We were down 15-3 and in the last 9 minutes of the 4th quarter, it was turned to have WMU win 18-15. It was super exciting - I screamed and cheered so much, I lost half of my voice. And it was "Band Day", so we had hundreds of high schoolers come march halftime with us and it was so much fun!! I got to see Garrett and Kara again, so I was ridiculously psyched. ^.^

Congratulations
Reeths-Puffer Marching Band!!
on taking first place for
Flight II in MCBA State Championships.
That's a title two years in a row (whoo-hoo!)

Oh yeah!!! ^.~
....It's all I have to say..*grin*
